Dentists in Missouri are required to take an average of 25 hours of continuing education each year. Dr. Hoffmann takes over 100 hours per year with over 30 hours solely dedicated to anesthesia.

Dr. Hoffmann earned his DDS Degree at the #1 ranked (by US News and World Report) University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1988. He completed a General Practice Residency in 1989 from the VA Hospital, St. Louis. During the following two years, Dr. Hoffmann completed a residency in anesthesia at Lutheran Medical Center (now Southpointe Hospital). He also participated in a hospital dentistry practice and continues to maintain certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
